The U.S. Russia Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE) has become a leading force for developing entrepreneurship in Russia. Over the past eight years, thousands of entrepreneurs, policy makers, and other business professionals have participated in the events that CFE has organized and supported. There is still a long way to go in creating the climate that encourages economic opportunity for all of Russia’s citizens. But, the success that CFE has enjoyed in the past gives us confidence that entrepreneurship in Russia will continue to flourish.

CFE receives the majority of its annual budget from The U.S. Russia Investment Fund (TUSRIF). TUSRIF will continue to be a committed partner with great respect for CFE programs and outcomes. CFE recognizes, however, that diversification of its revenue toward private funding is important to ensure growth and expansion, long-term vitality, and sustainability.

As an entrepreneurial organization, CFE recognizes the value of building its resource base, enhancing matching funding for our activities, and building relationships that leverage our expertise with the philanthropic and business priorities of others.

In response to this desire to increase resources for programs and services, CFE has set an ambitious goal of raising a minimum of $2.6 million over the next five years.

While this amount is significant, we believe we have developed a strategy to enable CFE to increase fundraising to reach this goal. Our activities will include a membership program, special events, and partnerships with corporations, individuals and foundations.

Your critical investment at this time will ensure that today’s entrepreneurs will continue to thrive and grow. CFE has a number of unique funding opportunities that can have a lasting impact on the Russian economy. Additionally, CFE is interested in working with individuals, corporations, and foundations to develop programs that address specific areas of interest in expanding entrepreneurship in Russia. As an example of the range of CFE’s projects, links on the left highlight four programs that CFE is currently seeking partners who can provide additional support. These opportunities are just part of the full scope of programs the CFE is managing and developing.
