CFE has provided matching funding for the production of seven television programs “Arsenal Rukovoditelia” (The Leader’s Arsenal), a reality show for owners of businesses and for those who want to start a business.
Junior Achievement Nizhny Novgorod - Development of Entrepreneurial Thinking
The project targets school students and entails theoretical and practical events surrounding entrepreneurship, including a roundtable, master class, workshop, business breakfast, business game, and a conference. Different experiential learning methods will be included in these events, including guest lectures, experimentation, games, exercises, case and video case analysis, presentations, and hand-out materials.
Expert RA
In June 2010, the U.S. Russia Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE) provided matching funding for two conferences organized by Expert RA, part of the Expert business publishing house.
RBC TV
In June 2010, the U.S. Russia Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE) provided matching funding to RBC TV, Russia’s main all-business news channel to conduct three 22 minute interview programs with entrepreneurs to demonstrate how they build growing businesses.
Series of Events Pointed to Facilitate the Development of Innovative Businesses Based on Intellectual Property
TVN Fund (Technology. Implementation.Science LLC) in partnership with the U.S. Russia Center for Entrepreneurship carries out a 3-rounds project to stimulate R&D commercialization, and establish new technology business based upon intellectual property.
Russian Microfinance Center
In September 2009, the U.S. Russia Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE) provided the Russian Microfinance Center (RMC) with matching funding to conduct its annual Russia Microfinance Trend Report.
Russian Agency for Support of Small and Medium Business
In September 2009, the U.S. Russia Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE) provided matching funding to the Russian Agency for Support of Small and Medium Business to organize an international conference entitled “Innovations & Investments: Efficient Basis for Competitiveness of Russian SMEs on Internal and International Markets”.
Junior Achievement Nizhny Novgorod
In August 2009, the U.S. Russia Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE) awarded Junior Achievement Russia (JA) matching funding to introduce two modules to its JA Success Skills program: the computer simulation JA Titan; and the web-based program Your World, Your Business.
CRDF TechInnovation
In August 2009, the U.S. Russia Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE) provided CRDF TechInnovation with matching funding to conduct a5-day International Scientific School on Innovation Management in Nizhny Novgorod on October 26 – 30, 2009.
Independent Directors’ Association
In July 2009, the U.S. Russia Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE) approved matching funding for the Independent Directors’ Association (IDA) to assist them in developing and piloting an education and certification program to strengthen Russian independent directors’ qualifications and professional standards.
